Research notes
Rebel Gaming is a registered student organization (Sport Clubs / Games category, status Active) and calls itself UNLV's hub for competitive collegiate esports teams. The earlier club, 8-Bit (founded 2012), was not funded by Athletics according to 2018 coverage, and its relationship to Rebel Gaming is unconfirmed, so since is null. The Valorant team ('UNLV Rebel Scarlet', College VALORANT 2025 West Championship) is confirmed only by a third party (thespike.gg). Other titles are unverified.
