Research notes
Re-checked Oct 2026: the FAQ still says 'Scholarships are not yet available at Ohio State.' The five Premier teams are run by the Office of Student Life, with staff contacts, applications and tryouts. The FAQ says they are 'not affiliated with Ohio State Athletics'. Classed as varsity because the program is official and staffed, not because it is part of athletics. Since 2019 is when the Esports Arena launched (fall 2019) and the program started (WFAE, Oct 2019). The exact first Premier season is not stated. PEC membership for 2025-26 is from Baylor's press release. The FAQ names no leagues.
