Research notes
The program still exists as an athletics-department varsity sport. The staff directory lists Head Esports Coach Alex Ardolf and an Esports GA, and esports remains in the athletics navigation. However, the newest posted roster is 2024-25 and the latest esports news is from Feb 2025, so the games come from the 2024-25 roster and 2025-26 activity is unconfirmed. Esports news on the athletics site dates back to 2018, but the exact start year is unknown. UnitID corrected from 178420 (that is UMSL) to 178244 (College Navigator). City is officially St. Louis (campus in Creve Coeur).
