Linking Google scholar to Dublin City University (DCU) Library – Google Scholar Citations provide a simple and free method for authors to increase their visibility and keep track of citations to their articles. The benefit of GS is its inclusive approach, therefore maximising coverage. You can make your profile public, so that it may appear in Google Scholar results when people search for your name.
You can choose to have your list of articles updated automatically, review the updates yourself, or manually upload articles at any time.
You must have a Google Account to use My Citations.

Here is one of the authors of the sample article referred to in the Stakeholder Mapping section. Note the strength of this profile, including position, email address, areas of interest, publications to date and associated metrics. Another individual can easily track new research added to this account by clicking the follow button.

Useful Tips for finding specific Journal Articles
Using Google Scholar can be a useful aide in your research and for making sure information in hard-to-find journal articles is correct. If you have having trouble finding a particular article and think something may be wrong, e.g. incorrect issue/volume, year, or author, put in the full title of the article enclosed in quotation marks “” and hit search.
Make sure to link your Google Scholar to DCU Library : Go to Settings > Library Links > select Dublin City University – Find It@DCU.
Using this link will show you when we have subscriptions and full text links to articles so you can access them straight away.
