The Young European Resuscitation Council (ERC) Science Masterclass

The Young European Resuscitation Council (ERC) Science Masterclass – The Young ERC Resuscitation Science Masterclass aims to connect, inspire, and support the growth of the next generation of resuscitation scientists worldwide through education, networking and collaboration. The second edition of the Resuscitation Science Masterclass will commence in September 2024.

Why you should join the Resuscitation Science Masterclass:

• Network with your fellow participants and senior researchers.
• Strengthen your science communication skills.
• Develop your research questions and proposals in resuscitation science.
• Grow your competencies to conduct resuscitation science projects.
• Strengthen your skills for critical appraisal of the scientific literature.
• Collaborate on a journal club article for Resuscitation Plus.
• Join an in-person capstone event to conclude the one-year programme.

Target audience:
All aspiring researchers with a strong interest in resuscitation science are invited to apply. Participants should be in the early stage of their scientific career and have a basic understanding of research fundamentals. The 20 selected participants should expect to commit at least 10 hours per month to masterclass activities.

Applications from all professions involved in resuscitation science are strongly encouraged.

Collaboration with Resuscitation Plus:

Masterclass participants will have the opportunity to prepare and submit a special journal club article together with experienced researchers. This is made possible through collaboration with the fully open-access peer-reviewed journal Resuscitation Plus.

• 10 interactive webinars
• 5 engaging Journal clubs
• 4 innovative workshops
• 1 inspiring capstone event

Masterclass educators:

Participants will learn from international experts in resuscitation science and their fellow masterclass participants.

Masterclass diploma:

Upon successful completion of the Young ERC Resuscitation Science Masterclass the participants will receive a diploma.
