Nakawa vocational training college in collaboration with UNIDO – Investment and Technolgy Promotion Office in tokyo , japan (UNIDO ITPO Japan) is implementing an ECO-FRIENDLY END-OF-LIFE vehicles (ELVs) Recycling training.
This is inline with the ” Industrial vocational training programme in Africa through technology transfer from japan (SAP ID 230055) project.
The public is hereby invited to this free of charge training that will start on 20th May 2024.
The training is only limted to 100 participants and i cohort of 25 per group. It will be a haklf day training and starting from 9am – 1pm an NAKAWA VTC’s automobile traioning workshops.
TRAINING OBJECTIVES
- To promote the recycling of abandoned END LIFE VEHICLES, which are causuing environmental problems in Uganda.
- To contribute to the prevention of environmental polution.
- Through sophisticated auotmobile recycling technology , it is expected to recycle resources using sorted, high quality recycle raw materials , prmote domestic resource recycling, and foster the recycling industry.
TARGET GROUP OF TRAINEES
- Graduates of automotive at any level
- Business operators and or field workers in automotive maintenance and industrial waste mnagement sector as well as the informal sector

application forms can be picked from college reception, Plot 96m Mukabya road. Female applicants are encouraged to apply. Deadline for submisison is 17th May 2024 at 4pm.
