How to Apply for Photo Amendment

STEP 01 REGISTER an account at https://qmis.knec.ac.ke

STEP 02 Login in with credentials sent on your email

STEP 03 Type the Index number, select exam and year then click FIND to generate the candidate’s details

STEP 04 Upload the correct passport photo

STEP 05 Attach the following documents: i) A letter from the school ii) A copy of KCSE certificate

STEP 06 Give the system time to verify the application

STEP 07 You will receive an SMS notification to log in and make payment

STEP 08 Pay Ksh 5,000 STEP

STEP 09 Once the process is complete, you will receive an SMS notification to collect the new certificate from the KNEC offices

STEP 10 To collect the new certificate, you will be required to surrender the old original certificate. You will also need to come with your original identification card KNEC has automated the process of submitting examination related queries by clients.
