How to setup Boston College Library links to Google scholar – You can supplement your Databases searching with Google Scholar. It searches across many disciplines and sources: peer-reviewed papers, theses, books, abstracts and articles, from academic publishers, professional societies, preprint repositories, universities and other scholarly organizations.

The advanced search includes the ability to limit by author, title, publication fields, date, country (to access the advanced search click on the arrow to the right of the search box).

Find It @ BC
Google Scholar can be set up to include links called FindIt@BC. To do this, take the following steps:

  • In Google Scholar, click on Settings, a link at the of the top of the page.
  • Choose Library links (left hand column)
  • Type in Boston College, click on Find Library, and select “Boston College Libraries–Findit@BC.”
