Organizers of the “GEN. BODMAS KEMEPADEI FREE SKILL ACQUISITION TRAINING FOR BAYELSA YOUTHS” uses this medium to announce the commencement of training for (24) eligible Bayelsa Youths to apply for the following programs under listed:
Skills:
1. Driving (5 months)
2. Computer training (Three Months)
3. Graphics design + Adobe Photoshop (Three Months)
4. Tailoring (1 year, Six Months)
5. Liquid Soap production (3 months)
6. Barbing (3 months)
7. Electricals (Wiring and Repair of appliances) (Six months)
8. Satellite and Cable Installation (three months)
9. Social media content creation (Three months)
10. Hair Dressing (Six months)
11. Cooking (local delicacies) (Three Months).
12. Photography (Six Months)
13. Phone repair (Three Months)
14. POS Business (Two months)
GEN. BODMAS KEMEPADEI Free Skill Acquisition Training For Bayelsa Youths Eligibility:
1: Applicants must be of Bayelsa Origin.
2: Applicants must know how to read and write.
3: Applicants must be between the age of 18 and 35 years old.
4: Applicants must possess good character and provide recommendation(s) from trustworthy persons, firm or traditional/religious leader.
5. Applicants must be ready to cater for their transport fare to the training venue as a sign of seriousness and commitment.
6. Applicants must be ready to go through apprenticeship/mentorship after learning.
Application opens 4th July and ends 19th July, 2024
Free Skills Acquisition Programs are invaluable resources that provide individuals with the opportunity to learn new skills without financial barriers and empower participants to enhance their employability, pursue personal interests, and contribute meaningfully to the development of their communities without totally depending on others.
Therefore, this event is aimed at supporting government and other individuals effort in creation of wealth for Bayelsa youths to enable Bayelsans gain control of the state Skills and professional economy.
Note: After successful training and certification, empowerments in forms of starter packs, cash and other items will be provided to support and further advance the skills of beneficiaries in their different areas of learning to enable them kick-start in the open market.
However, due to gender sensitivity we have decentralized the number of trainees into (16) Men and Women to absorb the first batch of training which is to be drawn from the (
LGAs in Bayelsa State.
