ATS Scholar Editorial Fellowship Program – Call for Application. ATS Scholar is inviting applications for two early career editorial fellows to be selected for a one-year fellowship – At ATS Scholar, we are passionate about training the next generation of clinician educators in medical publishing. With that in mind, we are excited to invite applications for our second group of Editorial Fellows. Two early career editorial fellows will be selected for a one-year fellowship. To be eligible, applicants must be ATS members who are within their first three years on faculty.
Responsibilities:
o Editorial fellows will be paired with Associate Editors, with each fellow reviewing papers with Associate Editors to learn the peer review process.
o Editorial fellows will join senior editorial meetings once a month to observe our process and provide feedback on specific programs.
o Fellows will be given the opportunity to write a manuscript reflecting on their experience in the program. The paper will be subject to peer review and considered for publication in ATS Scholar.

- Letter describing what you hope to learn and apply to your future career goals from participating in the program. This letter should also include the name of a supervisor that we will email after acceptance into the program to confirm that you will have protected time for the ATS Scholar editorial fellowship (at least 2 hours per week)
The deadline for applications is July 31, 2024.
