Apply for 2016-2023 Financial Year Refunds on Mpumalanga Provincial Revenue Deposits

An invitation to apply for 2016-2023 financial year refunds on Mpumalanga Provincial revenue deposits.

In line with the Departmental policy, clients are hereby invited to apply for refunds on unallocated or overpaid deposits in line with the attached list due to the following reasons:

  • Incorrect reference used.
  • Overpayments.
  • Traffic fine issued by other authorities.

To request a refund for deposits made on the Motor Vehicle Licence Tax Account the following documents needs to be completed and returned to email ([email protected])

  • Letter from Registration Authority to agreeing that money is owed to claimant.
  • An Affidavit outlining what happened.
  • Proof of all payments made.
  • Fully completed BAS Entity form from the Department and signed by claimant and the bank need to put a stamp next to the bank details completed.
  • ID copy of individual applying for a refund.
  • The documents of the company if the deposit was were made by a private company.

To request a refund for deposits made on the Paymaster General Account the following documents needs to be completed and returned to email ([email protected])

  • An Affidavit outlining what happened.
  • Proof of all payments made.
  • Fully completed BAS Entity form from the Department and signed by claimant and the bank need to put a stamp next to the bank details completed.
  • ID copy of individual applying for a refund.
  • The documents of the company if the deposit was were made by a private company.

To request a refund for deposits made on the Traffic Fines Account the following documents needs to be completed and returned to email ([email protected]):

  • Copy of traffic fine/ticket need to be attached.
  • An Affidavit outlining what happened
  • Proof of all payments made.
  • Fully completed BAS Entity form from the Department and signed by the offender and the bank need to put a stamp next to the bank details completed.
  • ID copy of individual applying for a refund.
  • The documents of the company if the traffic fine was issued to the private company.

Please note: Applicant’s identity number /Company documents will be checked for any outstanding traffic fines prior to approving any refunds.

NB: The Department reserves the right not to refund if the set criteria is not met or if its found that the request for refund is not valid. Refunds request must be submitted to the relevant person as indicated, not later that 3 weeks after publishing of the lists.
